GE Designs Teaching & Class Offerings

I have experience making many of the GE Quilt Designs patterns — everything from large and small quilts to table runners, wall hangings, “quilt-as-you-go” projects, and more.

Here are just a few of the classes I offer:

Master Your Stripology Rulers

Full Day (6 hours) or Half Day (4 hours)

This class is all about getting comfortable and confident with your Stripology rulers! We’ll cover the basics of cutting, using the handy charts from the Master Your Stripology Rulers book, making angled cuts, trimming blocks, and using GEasy methods for constructing common quilt units. The class can also be structured as a project class — students can choose to make a table topper, placemats, or a table runner, so they’ll leave with a finished top by the end of the day.

Frankie

Full Day Class (6 hours)

This gorgeous quilt may look complex, but it’s surprisingly simple with the Stripology rulers! The pattern uses ½-yard cuts or fat quarters, and students can work with either the XL or Squared ruler. The pattern is featured in the Stripology Quickies book.

Nikki

Full Day Class (6 hours)

Nikki is a fun and fast quilt made from 10” squares, which we’ll cut from yardage for better accuracy. It’s a great project for showing off beautiful fabric combinations — and it comes together quicker than you’d expect! The pattern is available as a stand-alone design, either printed or as a downloadable PDF.
