Welcome! I’m Patty—so glad you’re here. If you’ve found your way to my page, chances are you’re looking for a longarm quilter, and I’d love to help you finish your quilt.

I learned to sew as a child thanks to my mom, and that love of creating has stayed with me throughout my life. I began quilting in the late 1980s while living in Dillingham, Alaska, where a small but mighty quilt guild and a handful of talented quilters inspired my passion for the craft. After moving to Anchorage in 2000 and finally having access to quilt shops, my quilting journey truly blossomed.

About eight years ago, I purchased my first longarm machine with the goal of finishing my own quilts. After retiring in 2025, I decided to turn that passion into a service for others, and I began longarming professionally in 2026. I currently specialize in edge-to-edge (E2E) quilting and enjoy helping quilters bring their tops across the finish line with the perfect design.

In 2019, I discovered GE Designs and the Stripology® rulers—and one class was all it took. I was instantly hooked! The Stripology system completely transformed how I quilt, and I can’t imagine working without it. After retiring, I took the next step and became a Stripology® Certified Instructor. I truly enjoy sharing what I’ve learned and helping others gain confidence, accuracy, and joy using their Stripology rulers.

I live in Chugiak, Alaska, and I’m available to finish quilt tops as well as teach classes throughout Alaska, Western Montana, and Western Washington. I’d be delighted to work with your group, shop, or guild.
